About five days ago, I logged onto Reddit and was warned of suspicious activity. I was instructed to change my password. I did this. Yet for reasons I do not know, Reddit deleted ALL, yes ALL, my posts. Every post and every comment!
The following day, they deleted my entire SubReddit HotelTransform. This subreddit was hugely popular. It had something like 3.5K members!
I have tried to get in touch with a human being at Reddit to correct this, but it would be easier to get an audience with the Pope!
I will keep you all informed.
I have more stories to share and may return to this WordPress site. Though I may create a fresh Reddit site and risk the wrath of mindless algorithms again.

Thank you Louise. A staggering number of people have been banned from Reddit, and their subreddits deleted, sometimes for offering mainstream political views to which either the algorithms or a sensitive individual has taken offence.
It is madness. There should be a warning so that the user can correct any problems before the ban.

This is absolutely awful. I’m so sorry for the headaches and aggravation you’re having to deal with. I cannot begin to explain how much I have appreciated your work over the years. I hope we get to see more of your current story, once things get ironed out.
Aw, thank you, Tiffy. You are right, it is a headache. It is so frustrating not being able to speak to anyone, and not knowing what the problems were that led to Reddit going Nuclear on me and my subreddit.

Hey Deb, I’ve been following your Reddit page from past three years, and just a few days ago, I checked and saw your page was gone. It’s a bit sad, but I’m sure it’s the start of something new! I’ll definitely join your new Reddit page once it’s up. By the way, how old are you? I’m 24 myself. As I mentioned, I’ve been following you for a while and recently realized you used to share your stories on FM (mentioned by others) before you created this website of yours. But now they’re gone any particular reason you decided to delete them? signing off LFI(Love From India).
Thank you LFI. I am still chasing reddit to see if I can get it reinstated. Taht is a helluva lot of work and input from readers that they have obliterated. But they won’t get in touch with me, so maybe the way forward is to create a new reddit sub, just as you suggest.
Or I may concentrate on this site.
I had been posting on Fictionmania for many years. but then they posted a series of foul stories and I, and others removed our stories. It is a shame as it has a good readership, lot of interaction but I fear that my work could be posted alongside dreadful things.
With my own website I control what is here, though it is very messy and needs a lot of attention.
Another long time fan of yours. It’s frustrating dealing with nameless cancellations. It’s happened to me before.
